Although we still find the play funny in it's self we have come up with ways to make it even funnier to us. Most of the time we tend to ridicule the play which is sad in a way but incredibly funny in others. Examples of this are parodies such as the Simpson's remake of the play, or the movie Hamlet 2. We also make songs, draw pictures and make up video's ridiculing either the entire play or just certain aspects of it. And this isn't out of disrespect for the play, it's just the way we find it funny now a days. Some of these funny video's are accurate, others couldn't be any further off from the actual story line.
For me personally the best remakes or pictures are the ones that are relevant to the play but with a modern twist that allow us to see the hidden humor found with in the play. Because there is a lot of funny scenes and when people make these remakes and really emphasize them we can finally really see the hidden play of this comedic tragedy. Examples
